I have a 5 years old computer with XP PRO and I use outlook express.
I bought a new computer, also XP PRO but faster main processor.

Both machines are in the same room and I networked them, and I can see on
one machine all that I set to share with the other. But I cannot neither
export nor Import anything from one machine OE to the other. It just will not
do it.

Anyone knows how to go about it, Please,
John

OE was not built with networking in mind. You're going to have to do a
little manual work.

How do I import Outlook Express messages into Outlook 2007? Outlook The MS help on this says to copy the *.dbx files to the new computer, then point Windows Mail's Store Folders setting to it, then import from Outlook 2007. This doesn't work, as Windows Mail uses a different file layout. What's wierd is that the import dialog box in Outlook 2007 offers several versions of Outlook Express, plus Windows Mail - all in the same selection. Apparently, they're not the same stumped, short of exporting all the OE mail in comma delimited format. Any suggestions anyone? Unable to open OE 6 Outlook Had to have XP sp2 reinstalled. Now when I try to open OE 6, I get the following message: "Outlook Express could not be started.
