My OS is WinXP Pro with SP3
Question is about: Microsoft Office Outlook 2003

I want to know how to log out/sign out from outlook 2003, i.e. I have
configured outlook 2003 for my hotmail account using outlook connector. I
did not save my password. I downloaded some mails. I exited outlook (from
file menu, clicking on exit) and again started outlook, I could read my inbox
mails before it asked for password.

My question is: How to avoid this situation (i.e. if any other user uses
computer, will he be able to read my mails by just starting outlook, how to
avoid this situation?). Pls note, I do not want to create multiple user
accounts on my computer to do this. Some sites suggested to use logout
button on menu bar, but I could not find the button

Please help me to find solution to this problem.

Thank you.

Some common reasons why Outlook will not shut down completely when you click
either the X or Exit:

1. PDA synchronization software with your PDA in the cradle.
2. WinFax Pro (especially 10.02 in Outlook 2003) - contact their support
for an alleged fix.
3. Franklin-Covey Plan Plus!
4. COM Add-ins.
5. Mail reminder add-ins that keep a stub of Outlook open in the background
to check for new mail and fire reminders.
6. Anti-virus/firewall programs that are set to scan incoming and outgoing
mail.
7. skype add-in
8. Infuzer

Looking for good email program? Outlook Hi forum members, This is the first time I have posted at this forum, and to an excellent internet / web based email. With Microsoft, it appears I have two choices, Outlook, or Outlook Express. Up front I am stating, not interested in all the bells and whistles that that exists, whether it is free, or, I have to pay for it. So, between Outlook and Outlook Express, what are the pros and cons about one versus the other? Please do not about the stuff I have stated I am not interested in. Simply want to compare Outlook vs Outlook Express's email program and how either will serve me best. My needs: 1 - I do not waste anybody's time with stuff that is not relevant to my question.
