I was using Outlook 2003 without any problems. Had an issue with Word and
inserted Office XP disk to fix problems related to Word. Next time I used
Outlook 2003 it did not work. Deleted Office XP and loaded Microsoft Office
2000 (as I do not have Outlook 2003). Running Outlook 2000 without any issues
but have lost all of the emails/contacts/etc. that I had with Outlook 2003.
What can I do to recover the emails/contact/tasks I had with Outlook 2003?
Any suggestions.

Thanks.

I tried to import the outlook pst file but it did not work? It seems that
the pst file associated with Outlook 2003 is not compatible with Outlook
2000. What shoud I do?

If you were using Outlook 2003 why did you use the OfficeXP disk or did you
have OfficeXP installed and a seperate version of Outlook 2003?
Outlook versions pre Outlook 2003 cannot read a pst file created in outlook
2003
You need to find your outlook 2003 cd

Have you tried Scanpst.exe? If not findinga ny solution with it then try Kernel for Outlook repair tool. It will recover lost emails and any other item included.

Thanks

Bulletproof Exiting Outlook (and not crashing) Outlook In building an Outlook integration, I try to exit Outlook this way: Marshal.ReleaseComObject(objOutlook) objOutlook = Nothing Before I did this, sometimes this code would not execute, and Outlook would then get a bit messed up. I would have to load Outlook and wait for it to repair and / or shut down Outlook in the Task Manager. I do not want this ever to happen to a user code the best way to handle this scenario. I want to bulletproof an application with Outlook, and I do not want to corrupt a user's Outlook file. I am just

Using Word 2007 in Outlook editor Outlook I have office 2007 professional installed, but for some reason, the Outlook e-mail editor does not use Word. I am unable to use any of the Autotext or AutoCorrect functions (Quickparts is greyed missing a setting somewhere? What is the point in putting the full toolbar into the Outlook e-mail editor then graying out most of the features? I must be missing something, this just does not sound correct. - - Thank you, John Gregory Outlook General Discussions Outlook 2007 (1) Outlook 2010 (1) Office 2007 (1) Office 2003 (1) Office
