Even though I delete all my sent items and empty my deleted items from
Outlook every day before leaving the office, if I log onto Webmail later on
from home the items still appear in the Sent and Deleted Items folders. Can
I stop this from happening? Once an email is deleted, I do not want it back.

Are you using exchange server? if you use the option to automatically empty
deleted on close, outlook does not have a chance to update the server before
it closes. Empty deleted items a few minutes before closing outlook. If
using imap or pop3 and leave mail on the server, do a send/receive before
closing.
Bulletproof Exiting Outlook (and not crashing) Outlook In building an Outlook integration, I try to exit Outlook this way: Marshal.ReleaseComObject(objOutlook) objOutlook = Nothing Before I did this, sometimes this code would not execute, and Outlook would then get a bit messed up. I would have to load Outlook and wait for it to repair and / or shut down Outlook in the Task Manager. I do not want this ever to happen to a user code the best way to handle this scenario. I want to bulletproof an application with Outlook, and I do not want to corrupt a user's Outlook file. I am just
Trying to get my head around IMAP Outlook My ISP have recently moved their servers to Gmail and Hence IMAP seems to be the way to go in order to keep my email in sync me a few headaches though, not least of which is the following. I have configured Outlook 2007 (SP2) to save my sent mail in the "Sent" folder on the IMAP server, so that I can see my sent items from both machines. This seems to work fine when composing new email from within Outlook itself, by clicking the "New" button on the toolbar. If, however, I decided to send Email), the message gets saved in my local not even sure if this is an Outlook, Office or Windows issue (I am using Vista Ultimate SP2) but is this normal? If so, is there any way around it? Outlook Discussions Outlook 2010 (1) Outlook 2007 (1) Office (1) Excel (1) Vista (1) Word (1

OE with all ISPs? Outlook I am about to be forced to change from a local ISP to one of the big guys- -either Frontier or Comcast. Will I be able to use Outlook Express to get my email from these two? I have been with the same ISP I started using the internet, so my experience is very limited. Thank you! Jo-Anne Outlook Express Discussions Drum D. Then I can post from within outlook express so my messages get stored in storage folders. Just like hotmail can be accessed with windows live mail. Bye, Skybuck.
