Outlook Connector with Windows 7

I attempted to install MS Outlook Connector in order to view my hotmail email
accounts on my Outlook 2007.  I am running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and no matter
what I do the Connector executable will not run.  I have tried running as
administrator and I have tried compatibility mode as Win XP and no matter what
I do, when I double click on the exe it comes back with an error about 1-2
seconds later saying the installation has failed.
