Outlook - Reading Pane will not close

I can turn off the reading pane in the inbox and click on another folder and
come back to the inbox and it is turned back on. Any ideas? XP Pro SP3 &

Reset your view for the Inbox folder and try again;
View-> Current View-> Customize Current View...-> Reset Current View

Outlook 2007 Performance Issues Outlook I recently upgraded my Windows from XP too 7 and I am having major performance issues with my outlook 2007. My pst file is about 2gb's. It takes around a minute for outlook to open and after it does it takes 20 to 30 seconds to get a writing and email. However I did notice that when I type an email without opening outlook 2007 everything looks fine. it is when I open the program itself I have the up to last week. The messaging interface has returned an unknown error w / outlook200 Outlook I have been using outlook 2003 for more than a year with Bellsouth as my mail. Today I downloaded the new messenger and Outlook Connector so that I can syn hotmail into Outlook. Cannot modify or delete recurring items Outlook I am unable to edit or delete recurring appointments in Outlook 2002 on Win7. I get an error saying "Can't open this item. The object point it would tell me that I did not have permissions. If I copy the outlook.pst file to another user on the same computer (or another computer w / WinXP) I other IDs.
