Outlook - Migrate messages from Apple Mac Mail to Windows 7 / OL2010

Hi

I am asking on behalf of a friend.

He is currently using a year old Mac but for various reasons prefers the
Windows version of Office... so he wants to export all his messages from Mac
Mail into a format that can be imported or opened in Outlook 2010.

I was hoping there might be a utility which could do this but after a few
Google searches have not found any.  Although interesting to find that there
are several which will convert messages from a PST file into a format that
can be imported into Mac Mail!

I am hoping someone here might know of a utility which can do it or a link to
manual instructions?

It looks like Outlook 2010 can import the following formats:
Microsoft Outlook (.pst)
Outlook Express (.dbx)
Windows Mail (.eml)

So if Mac mail can export to any of those formats, you are golden.

Another option seems to be to use an IMAP mail server, such as GMail.
