Outlook - Embedded pictures in Windows Mail

Asked By SENIOR CITIZEN on 22-Jun-12 12:04 PM
My daughter in another state has Windows XP and I am going to assume it
has Windows Mail for the e-mail program. I have not verified that with
her yet. Her computer has an operating system problem that may
required re-installation. She has valuable pictures embedded in the e-
mail program, and I am wondering if they are separately stored some
place on the hard drive where they might be available to copy out to a
storage drive, before the operating system is re-installed. I hope
I am describing the problem accuarely!

Suggest to her to try this:

1) Open the email
2) Right-click on the picture, then choose "Save"
3) Save the picture to a desired directory

Hope this helps,

How does one save a whole lot of pictures?
Sometimes I get about 20 at once.
