Outlook - installing previewer in outllog 2007

Asked By blevy00 on 09-Sep-08 06:45 PM
How does one install a previewer like acrobat in outlook so pdf files may be
viewed in the preview pane?? I'm finding lots of info on various previewers,
but not instructions on the installation/linking process???

thanks, btl

all you need to do is install the application or preview handler - if the
app installs preview handler, they will be registered. For PDF, install the
newest Reader or Foxit.

see

for links to other preview handlers.

Diane - thanks for the simple answer. Would be nice if it were mentioned
somewhere in all the searching I did. My machine did have an older version
of acrobat which installed and didn't connect as a previewer, however,
installation of acrobat 8.1.2 did connect with outlook as a previewer.

thanks!! - blevy009
