I have a personal email account that works on IMAP with Outlook and I need to
set up my college Exchange account to work with Outlook as well. I have the
Exchange server set up but I can't get Outlook to leave a copy of my emails
on my web account. I really need to be able to access both email accounts
from one profile AND keep copies of my emails on the internet. Does anyone
have suggestions about how I can have an independent copy of my Exchange
emails online and a copy on Outlook?

What version of Outlook? Outlook 2002 and up have no problem accessing both
an Exchange account and an IMAP account simultaneously and the two data
files don't mix. Outlook 2000 and earlier, however, cannot.

POP3 not removing items from the server after download Outlook I have Outlook 2010 and my e-mail provider is BT Yahoo. I have always had Outlook configured to remove items from the server after they have downloaded and this has worked from the BT Yahoo Inbox to the BT Yahoo Trash file. I have checked my Outlook Account Settings and they are still as they were. I have set up a new Outlook Profile and that has the same result after downloading. The only thing that I have changed pst file stayed in Users - AppData - Local and I have now moved it to the Outlook Files folder in My Documents. I have a PC and a Laptop so have set the .pst in Outlook Files to be shared so I can pick up that folder no matter whether I
Outlook 2007 Checks Mail Every 60 Seconds Outlook I started a thread on this topic a couple of weeks ago, and thought I would summarize in a new thread since the problem persists. I use Outlook 2007 with Outlook Connector for my primary POP3 and Hotmail accounts on Windows 7. All works well, except that Outlook checks for mail about once per minute. I do not have Fax Transport activated for my mail profile. Several people posted possible fixes as follows: * Rebooted and started Outlook. Reset Outlook's Auto-send period to every 30 minutes. * Opened Outlook using safe switch

I cannot search a recently added email account Outlook I recently had a corrupted POP address and needed to configure a new address, same address, different password. However, I had two identical email addresses within the profile, same password, but deleted them. I cannot now use the search function for this new email address. . .It and three other accounts are utilizing the same pst. file.
