Outlook - email template

Asked By Jan on 25-Jan-09 05:25 AM
Is it possible to set up an email message template which would send the mail
created with that template via one particular account even if its not the
default account?

Setting up a template and having it send are 2 separate actions.

Yes, you can set up a template. As for having it send through a particular
account, you would need to intervene in that process to ensure it uses the
account you want.

Otherwise, you could probably write some code to accomplish this. See
http://www.outlookcode.com for some examples you may be able to copy or use
as a base.

Yes. Create the template and select the sending acct then save it. The one
big thing is that if you use it in a different profile, it will use the
default acct unless there is an acct using the same name.
